Lucinda Ritchie previously lived in her own adapted bungalow in Billingshurst, West Sussex. She was admitted to hospital with pneumonia last April, but 10 months later was not allowed to return home and was placed in #longtermcare an hour away from family. She feels “betrayed, worthless and frightened” after being moved to a nursing home against her will.
I hope never to see in Canada this kind of decision made by NHS Sussex who have denied Ms. Ritchie of her desire to return to #independent #living and placed her in #longtermcare.
