(Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI)) Almost a quarter (24%) or all long-term care residents in Canada received an #antipsychotic medication 𝚠̲𝚒̲𝚝̲𝚑̲𝚘̲𝚞̲𝚝̲ ̲𝚊̲ ̲𝚍̲𝚒̲𝚊̲𝚐̲𝚗̲𝚘̲𝚜̲𝚒̲𝚜̲ ̲𝚘̲𝚏̲ ̲𝚙̲𝚜̲𝚢̲𝚌̲𝚑̲𝚘̲𝚜̲𝚒̲𝚜̲ – rates higher than US, Australia and Sweden. The #AppropriateUseCoalition recommends no more than 15%.
