Meanwhile, after rescinding a policy it created prioritizing Ontarians over international medical graduates (requiring two years of Ontario high school) just last week, the Ontario is now embedding legislation that would give priority for medical residency positions to applicants with a connection to the province…citing that similar legislation exists in NS, NB and PEI.
