(US) The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has opened up state applications for the five-year, $50 billion Rural Health Transformation Program intended to address upcoming cuts to hospitals’ Medicaid funding.
I suggest that it would be equally helpful for the provinces and territories – in partnership with the federal government – to consider a similar fund to stimulate #rural #health #innovation and #transformation.
